Accessibility
Our AODA commitment, and how to tell us what you need.
Our commitment
BukTryp Chauffeured Transportation is committed to providing service in a way that respects the dignity and independence of people with disabilities, consistent with the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and its Customer Service Standard.
Accessible transportation
Tell us your requirements when booking and we will match the vehicle and the chauffeur to them. We can provide vehicles with low step-in height and grab handles, chauffeur assistance from door to vehicle, extra time for boarding without any charge for it, and wheelchair-accessible vehicles arranged with advance notice.
Service animals and support persons
Service animals are welcome in every vehicle in our fleet, at no additional charge and without prior notice. A support person travelling with you is carried at no additional fare.
Communication
We will communicate in the way that works for you — phone, text, email or through a family member or support worker you nominate. Booking confirmations can be sent in large print on request.
This website
This site is built to meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA where reasonably achievable: semantic HTML structure, keyboard-navigable menus, visible focus indicators, text alternatives for images, sufficient colour contrast, and layouts that reflow to 200 per cent zoom without loss of content.
Service disruptions
If an accessible vehicle or feature becomes temporarily unavailable, we will tell affected customers promptly and offer an alternative arrangement.
Feedback
If any part of our service or this website created a barrier for you, we want to hear about it. Email support@buktryp.com or call 1-855-255-6622. We acknowledge feedback within two business days and will tell you what we intend to do about it. Our accessibility plan is available in an accessible format on request.
