Terms & conditions

The rules that govern every booking, in plain language.

1. Agreement

These terms apply to every booking made with BukTryp Chauffeured Transportation. Making a booking, by any channel, means accepting them.

2. Quotes and pricing

Quoted rates are flat for the journey described and are valid for 14 days. They include the vehicle, chauffeur, fuel and return positioning. They exclude HST, gratuity, tolls, parking, venue access fees and any charges arising from changes you make after booking. Rates on this website are starting points; your written quote governs.

3. Bookings and confirmation

A booking exists once we issue a written confirmation. Please check it — addresses, dates, flight numbers and passenger counts are your responsibility to verify. We are not liable for a journey performed correctly against incorrect details you supplied.

4. Payment

A valid card is required to secure a booking and is pre-authorised rather than charged. Payment is taken on completion unless you hold an approved corporate account, in which case invoices are payable within 30 days.

5. Cancellation

Cancellations made 12 or more hours before the booked pickup time are free of charge. Cancellations made less than 12 hours before the booked pickup time are charged at 100% of the fare and are treated as a no-show. Cancellations caused by a cancelled or diverted flight are never charged, regardless of notice given.

6. Wait time and no-shows

Airport arrivals include 60 minutes of complimentary wait (international) or 30 minutes (domestic) from actual landing. Non-airport pickups include 15 minutes. Beyond that, wait time is billed in 15-minute increments. A passenger who cannot be located 60 minutes after the agreed time, having not contacted dispatch, is treated as a no-show.

7. Conduct and the vehicle

All vehicles are non-smoking and non-vaping. Alcohol is permitted only in licensed party buses and stretch limousines and only where every passenger is 19 or over. Chauffeurs may end a journey without refund where behaviour is unsafe, unlawful or abusive. Damage or soiling caused by passengers is charged at documented cost, including cleaning and lost service time.

8. Capacity and luggage

Published passenger and luggage capacities are maximums and cannot be exceeded for safety and insurance reasons. Where a party or its luggage exceeds the booked class, we will supply a larger vehicle where possible at the applicable rate, or the booking may be refused.

9. Liability

We maintain commercial passenger insurance as required by law. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, border processing, mechanical failure or events beyond our reasonable control, nor for consequential losses such as missed flights, connections or events. Our maximum liability for any booking is the amount paid for it.

10. Property left behind

Items found are logged and held for 30 days. We will arrange return at your cost. We accept no liability for property left in a vehicle.

11. Children

Appropriate child restraints are provided free where requested at booking. Passengers must tell us the age, weight and height of each child so the correct seat is fitted.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it, and the courts of Ontario have exclusive jurisdiction.
