How it works
Airport procedure
Exactly what happens at each terminal — where we meet you, how long you get, and what to do if something changes.
Before you fly
Give us the flight number at the time of booking, not the terminal. Airlines change terminals; flight numbers do not. From that number we determine the terminal, the expected arrivals door and the realistic clearance time.
The evening before travel you receive a confirmation text with your chauffeur's name, the vehicle make and colour, the plate, and a direct dispatch number that is answered at any hour.
Arrivals — curbside pickup
This is the default and the fastest option for a traveller who knows the airport. Clear customs, collect your bags, then send us a text or tap the number in your confirmation. Your chauffeur is holding in the cell-phone lot and pulls to the arrivals level within a few minutes, and we text you the door number and the vehicle description.
We do not have vehicles idling at the curb before you are ready. Airport authorities move them along, and a car circling the terminal is a car that is not where you are.
Arrivals — meet and greet
Your chauffeur parks, comes into the terminal, and waits in the arrivals hall beyond customs with a name board. They take your luggage and walk you to the car. Worth it for clients you have not met, first-time visitors, unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, and groups arriving on different flights who need marshalling into one place.
Wait time
International arrivals include 60 minutes of complimentary wait from the actual landing time. Domestic arrivals include 30 minutes. It starts when the aircraft lands, not when it was scheduled to. Beyond the allowance, wait time is billed in 15-minute increments and your chauffeur will call before that starts.
Departures
We recommend arriving at the terminal three hours before an international departure and two hours before a domestic one. Working back from that, we set a pickup time with buffer for the 401, the 427 and whatever construction is live on the airport approach. In winter we add more and tell you why.
If your flight changes
Nothing is required from you. We track the flight and adjust automatically. If it is cancelled while you are already travelling to the airport, dispatch will call you before you arrive and we will reroute or turn around — and you are not charged for a journey cancelled by a cancelled flight.
Terminal notes
Pearson Terminal 1 — Air Canada and most Star Alliance and long-haul carriers. Larger, and customs can be slow at peak arrival banks.
Pearson Terminal 3 — WestJet, Air Transat, Sunwing and much of the Oneworld, SkyTeam and US carrier traffic.
Billy Bishop (YTZ) — pickup is on the mainland at the Bathurst Quay terminal, at the top of the pedestrian tunnel. Curb space is tight, so we text an exact position.
Hamilton (YHM) — a single compact terminal; curbside pickup is straightforward even late at night.
